We are seeking an Inventory Management and Procurement Specialist to join our team at Purely Recruitment Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and predict demand for assigned product categories while maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Research and identify the most suitable products and suppliers, focusing on value, delivery timelines, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding stock supply timelines, and manage order placements as necessary.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts team to ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier and transport contract documentation for future reference.
  • Work closely with warehouse teams to conduct regular stock audits.
  • Ensure quality standards are met in collaboration with warehouse operations.
  • Assist management with administrative tasks and other duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Purchasing or Stock Control environment.
  • Proficient in using Sage or similar software, along with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Familiarity with computerized systems, including barcode scanning technology.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
