Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Support Specialist to join our team at the National Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for running various procurement processes, monitoring suppliers, and providing management information to support the organization's spend data analysis.

About the Role

The Procurement Team is a small, commercially focused team based across the country, providing training, guidance, and advice on procurement best practices. As a Procurement Support Specialist, you will work closely with the team to support various projects, including the development of key procurement systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement processes, including setting up new suppliers and monitoring key suppliers
  • Provide management information to support spend data analysis
  • Work with the team to develop and implement procurement systems
  • Act as the main point of contact with the Finance Data Analytics team

Requirements

  • Knowledge of finance and/or procurement systems
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
