Job Title: Governance and Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Governance and Compliance Manager to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will have a clinical background in medicine, nursing, pharmacy or allied health.

The Governance and Compliance Manager will work in an environment focused on actively managing governance and assurance across a number of services and ensuring that patient and staff safety remains paramount.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support arrangements for governance and the coordination of corporate and legal compliance across the organisation.
  • Coordinate and oversee all governance and compliance related meetings and working groups.
  • Ensure efficient information flows between all teams.
  • Play a key role in ensuring a modern approach to clinical standards, audit, and effectiveness is adopted.
  • Lead the preparation of evidence relating to clinical effectiveness and audit for internal and external reports, reviews and inspections.
  • Advise on relevant processes throughout the services.
Requirements:
  • Experience of regulatory requirements and compliance, legal interactions, procurement, insurance, and contracts.
  • Able to investigate, manage and create actionable service improvement plans through incident/deviation management.
  • Experience of creation and delivery of training programmes.
  • The ability to research best practices and support implementation across teams.
  • The ability to manage the operational aspect of the role regarding governance and compliance.
  • Holds or is willing to work towards a recognised qualification in Governance / Risk management.
