Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Governance and Compliance Manager to join our team at Compass Associates Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of governance and compliance across our organisation, with a focus on clinical standards, audit, and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective governance and compliance practices
- Develop and implement data mapping strategies to support governance and compliance initiatives
- Lead audits and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage risk assessments, analysis, and mitigation strategies to minimize organisational risk
- Support incident management and complaints handling processes
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective governance and compliance
- Lead change management initiatives to drive organisational improvement
- Schedule and minute meetings as required to ensure effective governance and compliance
- Cascade governance-related information to internal stakeholders
- Support the Head of Governance in deputising for governance-related activities
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or qualified by demonstrable experience in a clinical area
- Experience of regulatory requirements and compliance, legal interactions, procurement, insurance, and contracts
- Able to investigate, manage, and create actionable service improvement plans through incident/deviation management
- Experience of creation and delivery of training programmes
- The ability to research best practices and support implementation across teams
- The ability to manage the operational aspect of the role regarding governance and compliance
- The ability to learn and develop quickly
- Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, and a systematic thinker
Desirable:
- Holds or is willing to work towards a recognised qualification in Governance/Risk management
