About the Role

The Governance and Compliance Manager will play a key role in ensuring a modern approach to clinical standards, audit, and effectiveness is adopted at Montu UK. This includes the integration of continuous quality improvement skills and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams across the company to ensure effective governance and compliance.
  • Develop and implement data mapping strategies to support audit and quality assurance.
  • Lead audits (clinical and non-clinical) and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide incident management and support to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Conduct risk assessments, analysis, and management to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Support the management and development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure a smooth transition to new processes and procedures.
  • Schedule and minute meetings as required to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Cascade governance-related information internally to ensure all teams are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • Support the development of service improvement plans to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or qualified by demonstrable experience in a clinical area.
  • Experience of regulatory requirements and compliance, legal interactions, procurement, insurance, and contracts.
  • Able to investigate, manage, and create actionable service improvement plans through incident/deviation management.
  • Experience of creation and delivery of training programmes.
  • The ability to research best practices and support implementation across teams.
  • The ability to manage the operational aspect of the role regarding governance and compliance.
  • The ability to learn and develop quickly.
  • Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, and a systematic thinker.
