About the Role:The Governance and Compliance Manager will be responsible for supporting the Head of Governance and Leadership Team in ensuring that patient and staff safety remains paramount. You will work closely with the team to coordinate corporate and legal compliance across the organization, ensuring efficient information flows between all teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development and implementation of governance and compliance strategies
- Coordinate corporate and legal compliance across the organization
- Ensure effective information flows between teams
- Support the Head of Governance and Leadership Team in ensuring patient and staff safety
- Lead the preparation of evidence relating to clinical effectiveness and audit for internal and external reports, reviews, and inspections
- Advise on relevant processes throughout the services
- Support and lead in operations/governance projects
- Support or lead in the management and development of policies and procedures
- Support or lead change management
- Cascade governance-related information internally
- Support with all aspects of governance and compliance across all teams
- Deputise for the Head of Governance
- Experience of regulatory requirements and compliance, legal interactions, procurement, insurance, and contracts
- Able to investigate, manage, and create actionable service improvement plans through incident/deviation management
- Experience of creation and delivery of training programmes
- The ability to research best practices and support implementation across teams
- The ability to manage the operational aspect of the role regarding governance and compliance
- Holds or is willing to work towards a recognised qualification in Governance/Risk management
