During the apprenticeship phase, while pursuing the MSc program, you will receive remuneration at Band 5. Your registration and course fees for the MSc will be covered, and in return, upon successful completion of your apprenticeship and qualification, you will be expected to commit to RDaSH for a minimum of two additional years, during which you will be compensated at Band 6.

An Assistant Director for Psychological Professionals is dedicated to enhancing the psychology workforce within the Care Group.

Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Clinical Associate Psychologist (CAP), your responsibilities will be divided between participating in the Master's program and working within your designated service to cultivate the clinical skills and competencies vital for the role. Instruction will primarily be delivered online, with potential local travel required for small group training sessions.

Trainee CAPs will receive support to enhance their knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary for integrating psychotherapeutic models and adopting a person-centered approach to assist individuals with complex mental health challenges.
