Lead Service Charge Accounts Administrator

About the Role
At Churchill Estates Management, we are experiencing an exciting phase of growth within our Service Charge Finance team. We are seeking to fill two Senior Accounts Administrator positions within our Accounts and Finance division. In this role, you will collaborate with the Service Charge Accounts Supervisor and the broader Service Charge team to ensure the effective management of Service Charge accounts for retirement developments across the UK.
This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:
Overseeing a portfolio of complex service charge accounts to finalize year-end accounts, service charge budgets, and bank reconciliations in line with our established workflow.Managing intricate queries and enhancing workflow efficiency.Generating accurate estimated budgets for developments while coordinating with Regional and Area Management teams.Conducting analysis and reconciliation, which may involve assisting with the onboarding and offboarding of developments.Serving as the primary contact for resolving complex queries related to Lodge accounts, acting as a 'subject matter expert' within the team.The two available roles differ in their additional responsibilities; one will focus on team management, assisting with daily queries, one-on-ones, and HR-related tasks, while the other will handle financial integration and onboarding of new business, working closely with our commercial team.
The working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.
About You
To be successful in these roles, you must have substantial experience in a Service Charge Accounts environment, along with knowledge of relevant accounting systems, procedures, and property management practices. Familiarity with Qube is advantageous. A-level qualifications are essential, and holding a qualification in accounting or IRPM is preferred.
Additionally, you should possess strong keyboard skills and be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate to advanced level. Excellent organizational and communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively with a keen attention to detail. As a Senior Accounts Administrator, you will exemplify professional attributes such as resilience, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and initiative.
