Charge Account Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Service Charge Accounts Administrator to join our Accounts and Finance team at Churchill Estates Management Ltd.
As a Senior Service Charge Accounts Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Service Charge Accounts Supervisor and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of Service Charge accounts for retirement developments across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for a set of high-profile, complex service charge accounts to complete year-end accounts, service charge budgets, and bank reconciliations in accordance with the Churchill Estates workflow.
- Assist in complex query management and drive workflow.
- Produce reliable estimated budgets for developments, liaise with the Regional and Area Management teams out in the field.
- Analysis and reconciliation, which may include assisting with onboarding and offboarding developments.
- Act as the first point of contact and resolve complex queries about Lodge accounts across the wider team; be a 'subject matter expert.'
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working within a Service Charge Accounts team, with the relevant accounting systems, procedures, and knowledge of property management and leasehold. Experience of Qube would be an advantage.
You will be qualified to A-level standard and ideally hold a qualification in accounting or IRPM.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook to an intermediate/advanced standard.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, able to multi-task and prioritise workload with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work alongside an office-based team and role-model professional attributes such as resilience, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and initiative.
