About the Role

Churchill Estates Management is experiencing growth and is looking to enhance our dedicated Service Charge Finance team. We are seeking to recruit two Senior Service Charge Accounts Administrators to join our Accounts and Finance department. In this role, you will provide support to the Service Charge Accounts Supervisor and collaborate with the broader Service Charge team and various stakeholders to ensure the efficient completion of Service Charge accounts for retirement properties across the country.

This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Managing a portfolio of high-profile and intricate service charge accounts, ensuring the completion of year-end accounts, service charge budgets, and bank reconciliations in line with company protocols.
  • Assisting in the management of complex queries and facilitating workflow processes.
  • Generating accurate estimated budgets for developments while coordinating with Regional and Area Management teams.
  • Conducting analysis and reconciliation, which may involve onboarding and offboarding processes for developments.
  • Serving as the primary contact for resolving complex inquiries regarding Lodge accounts, acting as a 'subject matter expert' within the team.

The two available positions differ in their additional responsibilities: one role includes managing team members and supporting them with daily queries and HR-related matters, while the other focuses on financial integration and onboarding of new business, working closely with our commercial team.

The working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.

About You

We require candidates to have demonstrable experience in a Service Charge Accounts environment, with a solid understanding of relevant accounting systems, procedures, and property management practices. Familiarity with Qube software is advantageous. Candidates should be qualified to A-level standard and ideally possess a qualification in accounting or IRPM.

Additionally, proficiency in keyboard skills and intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential. Strong organizational and communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while maintaining a keen attention to detail. As a Senior Service Charge Accounts Administrator, you will exemplify professional attributes such as resilience, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and initiative.
