Job Summary:

Zest Business Group is seeking an experienced Optical Sales Manager to join our team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for creating and building exceptional customer relationships in the North London and Home Counties region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the customer base and increase market share.
  • Meet with potential clients to understand their needs and offer solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Improve profitability by optimizing product mix and upselling through training and consulting.
  • Negotiate sales and bonus agreements with customers within agreed limits.
  • Act as an ambassador of the brand and promote marketing to prospects and clients.
  • Manage sales pipeline, month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Represent the brand values and promote them at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous optical experience, preferably as a Dispensing Optician or Practice Manager.
  • Optical field sales experience.
  • Able to quickly gain a strong understanding of the client marketplace, including competitor products.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Commercially savvy.
