About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join our team in Barnet. As an IFA Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Advisers in delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Assist Financial Advisers in preparing recommendations and producing suitability reports, including preparing and maintaining client records, data gathering, and application form preparation and submission.
- Client Communications: Record client communications and client-related communications on the client's file in clear and intelligible English.
- Information Gathering: Collect and collate information and data about clients in accordance with the principles of 'know your client' and company policy.
- Financial Planning: Assist in identifying areas for planning and sourcing solutions suitable to meet clients' needs and objectives, including assisting in the preparation of tax calculations where necessary.
- Research and Analysis: Obtain information, quotes, illustrations, and product details, and provide comparisons for analysis.
- Reporting: Prepare suitability letters and reports for approval by the Financial Adviser in line with company policy and prepare associated accompanying documentation as required.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative functions, such as new business processing, income matching, collating and providing management information, and organizing future planning meetings with clients on behalf of the Financial Adviser.
Requirements:
- Financial Planning Knowledge: Understanding of the Financial Planning process.
- Business Acumen: Ability to work within defined business processes.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision.
- Organizational Skills: Prioritize and plan own workload.
- Attention to Detail: Detailed and accurate.
- Communication Skills: Articulate and excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Technical Skills: Good IT skills and good report writing skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and in a team.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Financial Services Experience: Experience of maintaining good working relationships in the delivery of financial advice services or similar environment.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess information, make comparisons, and identify critical features.
- Continuous Learning: Ability to acquire, update, and apply new skills and knowledge.
- Goal-Oriented: Set own goals and want to deliver agreed targets.
- Record Keeping: Retaining supporting records for review.
