Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Role

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Oxfordshire. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in optimizing contract profitability, providing quotations to clients, and managing residential groundworks projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimizing contract profitability through effective cost management and value engineering
  • Providing quotations to clients for variations and ensuring accurate monthly cost and value reports
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of residential groundworks and best practices
  • Collaborating with the commercial team to drive business growth and expansion
  • Performing other daily tasks associated with a Quantity Surveyor role

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential groundworks, with a strong understanding of commercial construction principles
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in value engineering and cost management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
