- Addressing borrower and third-party email inquiries comprehensively to minimize repetitive questions.
- Distributing and reviewing income and expenditure schedules, evaluating offers against established criteria, and either accepting or contesting offers based on the findings.
- Establishing arrangements based on offers related to borrowers' financial situations, ensuring correct payment dates and amounts are recorded, and clarifying commitments with the paying party.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous administrative experience in Collections or a related Credit Control position is preferred.
- Experience in a customer-centric environment, particularly in finance, is advantageous.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar.
- Punctual and adaptable to changing role requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and propose innovative practices for operational excellence.
- Friendly, empathetic demeanor with a robust work ethic.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
Flexible Work Environment:
At Zopa, we embrace flexible working arrangements. We recognize the importance of in-person collaboration and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our teams operate in a hybrid model, combining time in our dynamic UK offices with remote work, tailored to the team's needs and responsibilities. Additionally, employees have the opportunity to work from abroad for a specified number of days each year, ensuring that everyone has the resources necessary to excel in both their professional and personal lives.
