At Excelcare Holdings, we are seeking a highly skilled Recovery Programme Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals.

The successful candidate will have experience in planning and delivering activities and/or events for individuals with mental health conditions, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key responsibilities will include working with a team to plan and embed a diverse programme of ongoing activities for residents, ensuring activities are person-centred and conducive to overall recovery and rehabilitation.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving activities to ensure successful outcomes for residents, and will be able to demonstrate empathy, kindness, and a professional manner.

The role will involve working on a rota basis with the team to ensure activities are available at weekends as well as weekdays, and may require flexibility to travel between services to deliver activities.

We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays, and a contributory Pension Scheme, making this an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver activities and/or events for individuals with mental health conditions
  • Work with a team to plan and embed a diverse programme of ongoing activities for residents
  • Ensure activities are person-centred and conducive to overall recovery and rehabilitation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to broaden the activities offered
  • Work within allocated budgets per event/activity
  • Seek feedback from residents, team members, and other stakeholders to continually improve the activity programmes

About You:

  • Previous experience of planning and delivery of activities and/or events
  • Experience of dealing with people who have enduring mental health conditions
  • Passion and enthusiasm to drive the activities to ensure successful outcomes for our residents
  • Demonstrates empathy, kindness, and a professional manner coupled with the ability to set boundaries as required
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Good IT skills including Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Flexibility to travel between services as required to deliver activities
