Lead Coordinator for Central Operations

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated team of individuals with either specific organizational expertise related to AHA or those with prior experience in implementing Electronic Patient Records (EPR). Your passion for digital transformation is paramount, and we will provide the necessary technical training to ensure your success in this position. A balanced team with EPR implementation experience and knowledge of AHA (GWH, SFT, and RUH) is crucial for the success of our program.
We encourage applications from candidates interested in joining the program team on a full-time basis, as well as those who wish to combine a part-time role within the team alongside their current responsibilities. All internal candidates are advised to seek approval from their line manager prior to applying. Opportunities are available across AHA (GWH, SFT, and RUH), and successful candidates will have the option to remain within their home trust.
Key Responsibilities
The PAS Other workstream is designed to oversee essential administrative functions that support our trusts, including Medical Records, Clinical Coding, and Correspondence. We are in search of an experienced Manager to lead the central team focused on these critical areas. Your experience in one or more of these domains will be vital, as you will need the drive and insight to recognize the importance of effectively implementing these functions for the program's success.
This workstream will be complex, requiring collaboration with various Subject Matter Experts across different sites to facilitate transformation and change initiatives.

- Post-graduate diploma level education or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Evidence of ongoing professional development

- Project management certification

- Extensive experience in an acute hospital setting, with clear involvement in the designated work stream
- Proven track record of engaging with internal stakeholders
- Supervisory experience
- Experience in project management

- Experience in coordinating software testing
- Strong understanding of the NHS, particularly the NHS modernization agenda, along with comprehensive knowledge of NHS system procedures and information flows
- Familiarity with information systems utilized within the NHS
Knowledge

- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Advanced keyboard skills, including data entry and system configuration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of addressing diverse audiences, including stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and provide professional advice and support
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting and acting upon complex information
