Job Overview

Red Kite Waste is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing biomass and recycled wood for input into renewable energy generating power stations in the West Midlands.

You will work closely with waste wood suppliers to maintain relationships and the quality of recycled biomass supply. Your primary goal will be to ensure continuity of biomass supply as demand increases over the next 5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing biomass and recycled wood for input into renewable energy generating power stations
  • Maintaining relationships with waste wood suppliers
  • Ensuring the quality of recycled biomass supply
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase biomass supply
  • Collaborating with in-house operations teams, including transport, processing, and energy
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in waste management, sales, or commercial management
  • Knowledge of biomass and recycled wood supply chains
  • Strong relationships with waste wood suppliers
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to increase biomass supply
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
