Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify new markets and customer needs, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients, leveraging your expertise to build strong relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Promote our company's products and services, addressing or predicting clients' objectives and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Prepare sales contracts, ensuring adherence to established rules and guidelines, and maintaining accurate records of sales, revenue, and invoices.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support, building long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Develop and mentor entry-level staff into valuable salespeople, fostering a culture of excellence and growth within our team.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and opportunities, delivering results-driven performance and exceeding targets.
  • Load visit notes on our CRM system, preparing notes for upcoming visits, and completing quotes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow up on actions from previous meetings, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Must have had formal sales training and a proven track record of success in new business development.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in sales, with a strong understanding of the FMCG industry and its dynamics.
  • Good geographical understanding to plan travel and manage a territory effectively.
  • Sold a similar product type, such as ink, coatings, or packaging, and have a deep understanding of the market and customer needs.
  • Must be comfortable in a 360° role, where you are booking meetings, managing relationships, and driving sales growth.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary range of £40,000-£50,000 basic, plus a monthly bonus, car allowance, and expenses paid for overnight stays.
