About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team at Ruby Energy. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain forecast models, and own the annual budgeting cycle and mid-year reforecasting routines.
  • Manage bank and cash balances, including short-term and long-range cash forecasting and balance optimization.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and are applied/adhered to.
  • Support the operations of the business and provide financial support/modeling/analysis to the team.
  • Provide financial analysis of costing/pricing/margin strategy and evaluate opportunities/new channels/portfolio optimization.
  • Provide cost control and financial support to all departments in the business.
Requirements
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA part qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar finance role.
  • Degree educated/strong academic background.
  • Strong experience at business partner level and delivering to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of financial/management accounting practices.
  • Budgeting/forecasting/modeling within a complex customer life cycle.
  • Advanced Excel/MS office capability.
  • Competency with SAGE or similar financial accounting software.
