Facilities Senior Coordinator

Role Overview: As a vital member of our team, you will engage both reactively and proactively to promote the hotel and its amenities to prospective guests.

Experience Required: A minimum of 18 months in event coordination within a reputable hotel or event management company featuring multiple meeting spaces.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in Event Management systems and ideally Opera.
Work Schedule: Flexibility is essential, as the role typically involves a 5-day work week (generally Monday to Friday during standard office hours), with occasional evening and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and respond to all inquiries regarding conferences and functions held within the Food & Beverage areas, ensuring client requirements are thoroughly understood and met while maximizing revenue and profitability.
• Accurately record and process all bookings, cancellations, and modifications in the M&E computer system (Events 500), maintaining the highest standards of quality in all information and printed materials.
• Address business gaps when Food and Beverage outlets are not booked.
• Handle accommodation bookings and ensure a seamless booking experience to fulfill all client needs.
Client Engagement: Conduct show-rounds for potential clients and facilitate the coordination of bookings for both Food & Beverage outlets and rooms.
Reporting: Prepare and present the weekly M&E forecast in the absence of the Revenue & Events Office Manager.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain a comprehensive client database, fostering relationships with existing meetings and events clients while successfully attracting new clientele.
