Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Kent County Council. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering intelligence products to support the work of our enforcement and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist analyst capability to direct the work of enforcement and compliance teams in Kent.
  • Proactively identify emerging trends and issues across Kent, utilizing advanced analytical skills and tools.
  • Work collaboratively within a high-performing team to produce high-quality intelligence products, aligned with the National Intelligence Model (NIM).
  • Promote an intelligence-led approach, offering specialist advice, sharing best practices, and employing tools that enhance our enforcement and investigative actions.

Requirements

  • You will have a good understanding of intelligence-led working and experience of using intelligence in an analyst or enforcement capacity.
  • You will be dynamic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • You will be a team player who can lead by example and build strong relationships with partner organizations.
  • You will be computer literate and able to use databases to input, extract, and interpret information from various sources.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and be able to present to various audiences.
  • You will be able to use a variety of analytical skills, tools, and programs.
