Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enablement Supervisor to join our team at Kent County Council. As an Enablement Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting individuals to achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of individuals using the Enablement service, providing support to establish SMART goals and identify the correct level of need.
  • Provide practice monitoring, supervision, and training to a team of Enablement Support Workers in the community.
  • Monitor the quality of service provided and ensure staff work in a healthy and safe environment.
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapy and Case Management colleagues to ensure assessments are holistic and all opportunities are maximised.

Requirements

  • An empathetic and caring approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with a diverse range of people and challenging situations.
  • Skills to empower individuals to support them to reach their personal goals and maximise their independence.
  • Ability to travel across the required geographical area.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to the fast-changing business needs.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of computer-based systems.
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to their own development.
