We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Enablement Supervisor to join our team at Kent County Council. As an Enablement Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of individuals using the Enablement service, providing support and guidance to help them establish SMART Enablement goals and identify their level of need.
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapy and Case Management colleagues to ensure assessments are holistic and all opportunities are maximised.
  • Provide practice monitoring, supervision, and training to a team of Enablement Support Workers in the community, ensuring they work in a healthy and safe environment.
  • Monitor the quality of service provided and ensure that staff work in a way that promotes the independence and well-being of individuals using the service.
Requirements
  • An empathetic and caring approach, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with a diverse range of people and challenging situations.
  • Skills to empower individuals to support them to reach their personal goals and maximise their independence.
  • Ability to travel across the required geographical area, with a full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to the fast-changing business needs.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of computer-based systems.
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to their own development.
