Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civils Project Manager to oversee significant construction initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Civil Engineering, particularly in Reinforced Concrete and Steel Structures.

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time with potential for hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be integral to our team, ensuring the successful execution of construction projects involving concrete frameworks. Your role will involve:

  • Overseeing resources, including personnel, finances, and materials, to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring financial aspects of contracts, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards in line with our operational frameworks.
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients to effectively address their requirements.
  • Utilizing P6 for project programming, ensuring detailed planning for operational teams and adherence to contractual obligations.

Candidate Profile

This position is ideal for individuals who possess:

  • A relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
  • Chartered membership with the Institution of Civil Engineers, APM, or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience managing high-value projects from pre-construction through to delivery.
  • The ability to identify project requirements and lead teams to achieve desired outcomes in terms of quality, cost, and schedule.
