Carmichael UK is in search of a proficient and seasoned Section Engineer with a focus on Roads and Networks to become a vital part of our team.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guaranteeing the effective execution of road and network projects, maintaining the utmost standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct road and network construction operations on-site.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, technical standards, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with site management, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely project advancement.
  • Perform site evaluations and quality assessments to confirm that work aligns with the required benchmarks.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork with other engineering and construction divisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing road and network initiatives, ideally within a high-security context or significant civil engineering projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction techniques, materials, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and project management applications.
  • Prior experience in large-scale infrastructure undertakings.
  • Awareness of construction standards and requirements specific to the nuclear sector.
