We are seeking a skilled Civils Project Manager to oversee significant construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Civil Engineering, particularly in Reinforced Concrete and Steel Structures.

Location : Bridgwater, Somerset

Employment Type : Permanent, Full-time with flexible hybrid working options

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the Hinkley Point C project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing resources, including personnel, finances, and materials, to ensure project completion safely, on schedule, and within budget while maximizing client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Conducting financial oversight and contract management, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards in line with Kier's operational guidelines.
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Developing project schedules in P6 with sufficient detail for operational teams to execute the projects effectively, ensuring contractual compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is well-suited for individuals who possess:

  • Relevant qualifications such as a Management qualification, NVQ Level 3, HNC, or a Degree.
  • Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers, APM, or an equivalent body.
  • Significant experience managing high-value projects from pre-construction through to delivery.
  • The ability to define project requirements and lead teams to achieve quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
