About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Hospital Director. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality care and services to individuals with acquired brain injuries.

Main Responsibilities
  • Take overall responsibility for the effective management of all aspects of the Hospital, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and services.
  • Lead, manage, and direct a multidisciplinary team to achieve the aims and objectives of the Hospital and the organization.
  • Meet full compliance with regulatory requirements and legislation.
  • Market the Hospital to potential commissioners and referrers to create new business opportunities.
  • Manage organic and planned change within the service to meet the demands of new business.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate professional leadership and provide hands-on management support and guidance to staff.
  • Assume line management responsibilities for the senior management team and lead clinicians, providing operational support and direction.
  • Take responsibility for setting and monitoring budgets, capital, and revenue within the location.
  • Take overall responsibility for recruitment, employment, and working practices, complying with Employment Law and contractual obligations.
  • Produce and implement an annual business development plan to support the management and development of existing and new hospital provision.
  • Participate in conferences and marketing opportunities as an ambassador for the organization.
  • Take a lead responsibility for the provision and management of on-call systems for the location.
  • Ensure all individuals receive and are involved in their assessment, support plans, person-centered plans, and ongoing reviews.
  • Take a lead role in the provision of the review process, ensuring review reports are of a professional standard and collated in a timely manner.
About You
  • Must have worked as a Registered Manager before and have experience of managing a clinical team.
  • Have completed QCF (NVQ) level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation, and outcomes.
  • Have experience and understanding of what constitutes a high-quality specific residential service.
  • Be able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for individuals.
  • Have the ability to manage and guide staff, including clinicians, via formal supervisions and appraisals to maintain and improve quality and morale.
  • Have experience of managing budgets and financial systems.
  • Be able to prioritize the workload to meet specified deadlines.
  • Be able to be flexible and work unsociable hours when required.
  • Be able to fulfill the traveling requirements of the post, including attending training and meetings.
