About the Role:
The Humber and North Yorkshire Collaboration of Acute Providers (CAP) is dedicated to implementing large-scale initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care.
As an integral member of the acute trusts within the provider collaborative, the Assistant Program Director will be pivotal in the streamlined and effective management of the CAP work program. This role involves supporting the program office to ensure that all projects and assignments are meticulously planned and executed within the established project framework and governance structure to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan, manage, and evaluate the CAP Program milestones, interdependencies, risks, and outcomes utilizing established program management methodologies, ensuring timely submission of required reports in the specified format.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director, Trust Executives, and Program teams to define high-impact, pan-Trust projects, identifying both financial and quality-focused objectives.
- Ensure the timely delivery of project outcomes while adhering to budget constraints, actively monitoring and managing project risks that may jeopardize project success.
- Provide regular updates on project status and any associated risks or challenges to the CAP Deputy Managing Director, Program Board, or relevant governance bodies.
- Work closely with the CAP Deputy Managing Director to prioritize project components and advance necessary tasks.
- Foster collaborative relationships with the Senior Responsible Officer for High Impact projects, clinicians, and colleagues to develop effective, high-quality services for patients.
- Support corporate programs, including Executive Advisory Groups, and may be assigned to various projects or programs based on organizational needs, demonstrating flexibility across the CAP work program.
