About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological interventions for complex cases, working closely with other psychologists and mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement psychologically informed ways of working and practice in the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and a range of brief evidence-based psychological interventions targeting the needs of the population.
  • Develop and carry out appropriate psychological or psychologically informed training for staff involved in the project.
  • Measure outcomes of psychological or psychologically informed interventions.
  • Support a co-produced vision of service development, enabling and empowering service users to have an equal voice in shaping psychological services.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, or its equivalent, including eligibility for chartered status with the British Psychological Society.
  • Further post-qualification, post-graduate training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
  • Specialist complex psychological assessment and treatment of people with a wide range of mental health problems, of varying severity and complexity.
  • Extensive experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist and evidence of specialist knowledge gained through practice and ongoing training.
