About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Forensic Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions to patients with complex mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to inform treatment plans and interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and services.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Experience working with patients with complex mental health needs, including those with personality disorders, mental illnesses, and learning disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological theories and interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
