Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychologist to join our dedicated team. This position is integral to our mission of providing exceptional care and rehabilitation for individuals facing complex psychological challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized clinical assessments and contribute to the treatment planning for patients.
- Deliver psychological therapies tailored for individuals with personality disorders, mental health issues, intellectual disabilities, and those who have experienced complex trauma.
- Develop comprehensive psychological evaluations based on thorough analysis and integration of diverse qualitative and quantitative data.
- Administer and interpret cognitive and emotional assessments, assisting the multidisciplinary team in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Design, implement, and assess both individual and group therapeutic interventions, guided by established theoretical frameworks and best practice standards.
Essential Qualifications:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practitioner psychologist, with a preference for British Psychological Society (BPS) chartered status.
- Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in rehabilitation and recovery within a forensic context.
Desirable Skills:
- Training in clinical supervision.
- Proficiency in multiple psychological therapy modalities.
- Experience in individual and group therapeutic work, along with program development skills.
- Expertise in utilizing advanced psychological assessment techniques to inform treatment strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex clinical information effectively.
