We are currently seeking a Volunteer Support Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis for a fixed-term contract.

The Role

As a Volunteer Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting our member volunteer committees, which are essential in guiding our technical initiatives.

In collaboration with your team, you will facilitate the governance and operational management of these committees, ensuring they meet their objectives, execute projects, and carry out activities effectively.

Your responsibilities will include managing committee operations and administration, supporting various projects and programs, and ensuring that our member volunteers remain focused on achieving their goals.

In your efforts to enhance the volunteer experience, you will aid in the development of our member volunteers, providing them with access to a comprehensive range of digital tools, assisting them in their training, and helping with any troubleshooting needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate both virtual and in-person meetings
  • Oversee committee budgets, process invoices, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist in the execution of committee and project plans
  • Ensure the maintenance of precise member records
  • Support the formulation, implementation, and adherence to organizational policies

About You

To be considered for the role of Volunteer Support Coordinator, you should possess:

  • Experience in delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Empathy towards volunteers and the volunteering process
  • The capability to produce clear, concise, and timely meeting minutes
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
