Every Mace person is allowed to volunteer their time to engage in activities that benefit the local community for a minimum of 1 day per year. The Employee Volunteering Coordinator (EVC) is responsible for planning and promoting group volunteering events for the UK business and supporting international teams with recording and reporting volunteering, fundraising activities, and sharing case studies. The EVC is also responsible for monitoring, reporting, and capturing volunteering activities and outcomes monthly.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Responsible for recording, monitoring, and reporting volunteering activities using current systems in place. - including volunteering hours completed and recorded for all activities and volunteer partner outcomes (Biodiversity partners)
- Reviewing data for quality assurance of data reported monthly.
- Provide monthly reports to Volunteer Indicator Lead for corporate reporting including identifying any trends and updating PowerBi dashboards or reports.
- Maintaining data systems for Volunteering activities
- Attend meetings and communications events to share volunteering opportunities and targets, and report results.
- Work with volunteering champions and project teams to promote volunteering opportunities.
- Delivering presentations to Mace Business Units to promote employee volunteering and process for recording and reporting activities.
- Manage and be the main point of contact with internal and external partners and stakeholders for employee Volunteering interactions and communications: including network of Mace colleagues, client teams, charity/third sector partners and supply chain partners.
- Write and produce regular communications content regarding employee volunteering.
- Prepare case studies of successful events/activities.
- Work with Mace Events and PR teams to promote Volunteering opportunities and DIY events.
- Deal with queries and issues in a professional manner and carry out the role in line with the Mace values and behaviours.
- Identify, coordinate and plan community, education, and biodiversity volunteering activities for delivery by Mace employees.
- Facilitate volunteering opportunities and ensuring that all volunteers have enough information to volunteer.
- Supporting volunteering champions and Mace employees to register and promote volunteering opportunities through Mace channels and systems.

You’ll need to have:

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience of performing administrative tasks in a corporate environment. These include diary management, meeting organisation, monitoring and supporting ad hoc initiatives.
- Calm and professional manner.
- Effective problem solver and negotiator.
- Be self-motivated and able to self-manage.
- Be excited by the role, and the potential positive impacts that will be generated.
- Ability to manage several tasks concurrently.
- Familiarity with excel and processing people data in accordance with GDPR.

You’ll also have:

- Strong interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to different work environments
- Able to liaise with people at all levels and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to learn to use new IT systems to input data relating to Mace staff.
