Overview of the Role
The Sales Account Executive plays a crucial role in addressing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and processing orders. This position entails generating precise quotes, managing customer questions, and facilitating effective communication across various departments. The executive ensures adherence to credit policies, resolves disputes, and keeps customer records up to date. By collaborating with internal teams and external inspection agencies, the executive ensures timely delivery of products and services. Regular reporting and compliance with quality standards enhance organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Quotation and Order Processing
- Generate and issue quotations.
- Understand technical and commercial specifications.
- Address disputes and uphold pricing standards.
- Accurately enter and manage customer orders.
- Update order information and oversee pricing agreements.
Customer Engagement and Assistance
- Engage in customer meetings.
- Address inquiries and communicate specific needs.
- Manage customer returns and complaints.
- Coordinate visits from external inspection agencies.
Reporting and Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce credit control measures.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Regularly report on quotation and order activities.
- Monitor financial holds and credit status.
