We are seeking a Care Support Specialist to become a vital member of our team, delivering individualized, needs-focused assistance to adults with learning and/or physical disabilities.

As a Care Support Specialist, your role will involve aiding residents with daily living activities and encouraging their participation in various community and home-based activities. Our approach centers on empowering individuals to make their own choices, pursue their interests, and achieve greater independence.

Key Responsibilities of the Care Support Specialist

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the health, independence, and dignity of residents, ensuring their rights and safety are prioritized.
  • Assist the Home Manager and Senior Staff in maintaining the operational efficiency of the residence.
  • Work cohesively as part of a dedicated team.
  • Provide personal care while promoting independence and respecting the dignity of each resident.
  • Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly records and documentation as required.
  • Adhere to residents' care plans, risk assessments, and established guidelines consistently.
