Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team at our Extra Care Unit in Farnborough. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with varying needs to live as independently as possible. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and support, ensuring that each resident receives the highest level of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and personal care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to create and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support.
Requirements
- A passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Previous experience in care and support is desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including alternate weekends.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- DBS/PVG check required.
