Change Management Lead - IT
Location: Flexible (Hybrid Work Model)

ARC IT Recruitment is in search of a seasoned Change Management Lead specializing in IT to become part of a thriving insurance firm. The successful candidate will possess substantial expertise in steering and managing change projects within IT frameworks, particularly across the US and UK sectors. This position entails crafting and executing change management methodologies that enhance employee engagement and utilization while reducing resistance to transformation.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Change Management: Formulate and execute comprehensive change management strategies and frameworks that foster employee engagement and effective adoption of new technologies, processes, and systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Identify and connect with essential stakeholders to cultivate strong partnerships and ensure coherence with change initiatives. Facilitate dialogue between IT divisions and business sectors to guarantee a seamless transition.
  • Impact Analysis: Perform thorough assessments to pinpoint potential obstacles and risks linked to change initiatives. Develop proactive strategies to mitigate identified challenges.
  • Training and Development: Create and implement training programs and resources to assist end-users in acclimating to new technologies and processes. Offer continuous support and mentorship to teams and individuals as required.
  • Communication Strategy: Design and implement detailed communication strategies to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change journey. Utilize diverse communication methods to reach varied audiences effectively.
  • Performance Evaluation: Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of change initiatives and monitor progress against objectives. Provide regular updates to leadership regarding the status and outcomes of change efforts.
  • Ongoing Improvement: Identify avenues for continuous enhancement within the change management process and contribute to the formulation of best practices.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Utilize knowledge of cultural variances and organizational practices between the US and UK to tailor change management strategies appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or relevant Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, APMG) is advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT change management, with a proven track record in both US and UK organizational change management processes.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
    • Capability to influence and engage stakeholders across all organizational levels.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies.
    • Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT systems and digital transformation projects. Experience with change management software tools is a plus.
  • Cultural Competence: Experience in diverse cultural environments and adapting change strategies to various organizational cultures.
