Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced operational professional to fill the role of Senior Project Manager.


Compensation Package:

Our client is a prominent operator in the COMAH sector, managing several essential energy facilities across the UK. They are currently engaged in various innovative projects related to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), Hydrogen, and alternative energy solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee project delivery from inception to completion.
  2. Implement cost control measures and manage contractual agreements.
  3. Develop a comprehensive Project Execution Plan aligned with organizational protocols and client requirements.
  4. Establish criteria for contract completion and formulate a closure strategy.
  5. Assist in the preparation of project proposals during the bidding process.
  6. Review all project and contractual documentation following contract assignment.
  7. Manage project finances, including budget distribution and expenditure approvals.
  8. Develop and monitor project timelines, tracking progress and identifying potential impacts.
  9. Maintain projections for project cash flow, highlighting any risks or adverse cash flows.
  10. Lead both internal and external project meetings to ensure alignment on progress.
  11. Coordinate project activities across various phases to ensure adherence to schedules.
  12. Generate internal project summary reports and communicate updates regularly.
  13. Produce external project progress reports in accordance with contractual obligations.
  14. Participate in client meetings to provide updates on project status.
  15. Identify, document, and manage project risks and opportunities.
  16. Manage changes to contract scope and develop variations or compensation events.
  17. Oversee quality assurance, addressing any non-conformities and issues.
  18. Conduct formal project closure, including financial assessments and documentation of lessons learned.

Qualifications:
Project management certification (PMI, APM) is required.
