Role Overview

As a Construction Project Leader, you will be responsible for steering projects to successful completion, ensuring they meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.



Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Management: Assume full accountability for all project dimensions.
  • Safety Compliance: Guarantee adherence to all safety regulations and protocols on-site.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project timelines and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Financial Oversight: Maintain a focus on cost management and commercial viability throughout the project.
  • Design Collaboration: Work closely with the design team on construction-related issues.
  • Material Acquisition: Collaborate with procurement teams to secure necessary supplies.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor project staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communication: Keep all teams informed of project developments and any changes.
  • Policy Compliance: Conduct all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other tasks as required.
Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in a dynamic, high-demand environment.
  • Background in a construction or fit-out organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices with the ability to evaluate designs and propose cost-saving strategies.
  • Strong grasp of health and safety regulations pertinent to the construction sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional management skills and commercial insight.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work in changing environments.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with commercial requirements.
  • Experience in preparing timely reports for senior management.
  • Holder of relevant certifications and safety cards.
