Key Responsibilities Guarantee that all facets of quality, environmental standards, and progress align with contractual, internal, and regulatory stipulations. Oversee workforce resources, including arranging coverage for site personnel during annual leave or training periods. Assess constructability and pinpoint execution methods that offer commercial or programmatic advantages whenever feasible. Liaise with the BU Managing Director and Regional Managers, advising the contract team on any potential legal, industrial relations, safety, environmental, technical, or construction matters as necessary. Supervise interim accounts and payments alongside Quantity Surveyors and Accountants, tracking contract progress and profitability, and reporting findings during monthly cost meetings. Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors on Final Account and Loss and Expense negotiations, applying cost-benefit analysis to all activities, estimates, and overall cost forecasts. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Tier 1 Construction Leadership, with comprehensive oversight of site operations, staff management, and client relations, guiding projects from inception to completion. A third-level qualification in construction management, engineering, or quantity surveying. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of reporting at senior management or director levels to both internal and external stakeholders. IOSH/NEBOSH certification is preferable but not mandatory, along with awareness of CDM/PSCS, BBS, Root Cause Analysis, and participation in S5 & Q10 internal workshops.
