Are you a skilled Construction Manager looking to lead critical infrastructure projects within a high-profile joint venture? Our client, a collaboration between two major contractors, is seeking a Construction Manager to take charge of large-scale water infrastructure projects in the Brighton area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage all on-site operations, overseeing project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and design teams to ensure that all construction activities align with the project's design and client specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, address any delays, and implement solutions to ensure work stays on track.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or changes in requirements.
  • Manage project resources effectively, ensuring that equipment, materials, and personnel are optimised for smooth project flow.
  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure all construction work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for senior management, detailing project performance and any risks or opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager, ideally within the water sector or infrastructure industries.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, site management, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and complex projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working on water infrastructure projects or similar large-scale construction works is highly advantageous.
