The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Induction Training Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of our corporate and bespoke induction training programs.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective induction training programs for all staff members, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and trainers to design and deliver high-quality training sessions.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on induction training requirements and best practices.
- Manage the training and development team, including the Lead T&D Administrator, T&D Administrator, and T&D Assistant Administrator.
- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative learning opportunities, including simulation fellows and technology-enhanced learning.
- Coach and support subject matter experts to deliver high-quality induction training.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of induction training programs, making recommendations for improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree-level qualification and have experience in designing and delivering induction or engagement programs. They will also have experience in planning and organizing induction training, supervising staff, and using Microsoft Office software.
Desirable criteria include experience working in the NHS and evidence of championing diversity and equalities in previous roles.
