About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Mass Participation team as a coordinator, supporting participants in mass participation events and bespoke Shelter events. The role will focus on delivering our flagship Walk for Home event in London, with 3000 walkers taking part, and supporting the Mass Participation Manager to deliver our 2024 Walk for Home event.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of bespoke and challenge events at Shelter, including the Walk for Home event.
  • Work closely with the Mass Participation Manager to deliver the 2024 Walk for Home event.
  • Take responsibility for several specific areas for the event in the lead up to and on the day itself.
  • Support the development of new bespoke products and events.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working in a charity environment and has experience of working in events or fundraising. You will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. You will also have a proactive approach to work and be able to manage your time effectively.
