About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Coordinator and Operations Specialist to join our team at Sja's West. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the planning and delivery of first aid and medical provision at various events across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed event plans, identifying resource requirements and producing risk assessments.
  • Lead on the planning of assigned events, ensuring issues are escalated appropriately and high-quality delivery of effective and safe patient care.
  • Represent Sja's West at external multi-agency meetings and safety advisory groups to support the delivery of mass participation events.
  • Build and manage effective relationships with customers, event organizers, and volunteers to ensure a consistently high level of service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations planning and delivery, with a strong track record of managing events and resources.
  • Experience of using computerized planning systems, data input, and applications.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, take responsibility for end-to-end event delivery, and communicate effectively at all levels.
