About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Mass Participation team as an Events and Fundraising Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our flagship Walk for Home event in London, as well as other mass participation events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Mass Participation Manager in delivering our 2024 Walk for Home event in London, including coordinating logistics, volunteers, and event operations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery, including event marketing, participant engagement, and fundraising efforts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase participant engagement and fundraising revenue for our mass participation events.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure successful event execution.
  • Provide excellent customer service to participants, donors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in events, fundraising, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful events and fundraising campaigns.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
