Senior Principal Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Engineer to join our team at Oliver Bernard. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our technology strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

As a Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for setting the vision for our system architecture and leading the development roadmap. You will work closely with our senior leadership, software engineers, and product managers to drive innovation and excellence in our technology practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing high-throughput, low-latency systems using Core Java and AWS
  • Leading the development of cloud native solutions and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and security
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence and innovation
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Principal Engineer who can bring a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions and leading technical teams. If you have a passion for technology and a desire to make a real impact, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role
  • Strong expertise in Core Java and AWS
  • Experience in designing and implementing high-throughput, low-latency systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £120k-£140k depending on experience
  • A hybrid working arrangement with 1-2 days per week in our London or Manchester offices
