We are a leading Investment Technology Solutions company based in Central London, seeking a highly experienced Principal Solutions Architect to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Principal Solutions Architect to oversee a team of Software Engineers & Architects and work closely with our CTO, delivering technology solutions for our customers and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement system architecture for high-throughput, low-latency, mission-critical systems.
  • Lead senior technology leadership roles, including technical strategy, leadership, engineering practices, and system architecture.
  • Introduce effective software engineering practices and technologies into the organization.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Cloud technology, including AWS / Amazon Web Services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Principal Architect or Principal Engineer, with a track record of designing system architecture.
  • Solid experience in senior technology leadership roles, including Lead Solutions Architect, Senior Principal Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of building high-throughput, low-latency, mission-critical systems.
  • A strong background in Java OO Language, service-oriented architecture, enterprise messaging solutions, and relational database design.
  • Expertise in Cloud technology, including AWS / Amazon Web Services.
