Senior Principal Engineer - Java, AWS, High-Throughput, Low-Latency

Oliver Bernard's esteemed client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to join their team. This individual will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's technology infrastructure is high-performing, scalable, and highly secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, software engineers, and product managers to set a vision for the system architecture and drive the development roadmap forward.
  • Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency systems using Core Java.
  • Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior technical leadership role, such as Lead Architect or Senior Principal Engineer.
  • A strong track record of building high-throughput, low-latency systems using Core Java.
  • Proficiency in cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
