Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of Software Engineers and Architects, providing technical leadership and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to develop and implement technical strategies, engineering practices, and system architecture.
  • Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency, mission-critical systems using Java and other relevant technologies.
  • Introduce effective software engineering practices and technologies into the organization.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in cloud technology, including AWS and Amazon Web Services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Principal Architect or Principal Engineer, with a strong track record of designing system architecture.
  • Solid experience in senior technology leadership roles, including Lead Solutions Architect, Senior Principal Engineer, and Senior Staff Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of building high-throughput, low-latency, mission-critical systems.
  • A track record of successfully introducing effective software engineering practices and technologies into an organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, service-oriented architecture, enterprise messaging solutions, and relational database design.
  • Expertise in cloud technology, including AWS and Amazon Web Services.
