Job Opportunity

As a key member of the NearTech Search team, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Software Architect to lead our engineering efforts in London. This is a hybrid role that offers the perfect blend of technical challenge and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the development and implementation of our product solution, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  2. Lead and mentor a small engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
  3. Work closely with business leaders to align engineering efforts with business goals, driving strategic decision-making.
  4. Recruit, onboard, and train new hires within the software team, establishing a QA function and ensuring seamless integration.
  5. Manage project timelines, department budgets, and resources, delivering projects on time and within budget.

Technical Requirements:

We are a data-driven company, leveraging Python, Snowflake, and a data science stack to drive business insights. Our engineering team complements this with a range of technologies, including Python, Django, Fast API, JavaScript (React), RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, PyTest, Docker, and Kubernetes. We are looking for a candidate with expertise in AWS, particularly in CI/CD, S3, RDS, EDS, EKS, and Terraform.
